Hydrogen Peroxide- A Multi-Faceted Therapeutic Option

Hydrogen Peroxide Therapies have been in use in the US since the 1920's​. I have personally been using it in various applications for over 10 years.

Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound with the formula H2O2. In its pure form, it is a pale blue, clear liquid, slightly more viscous than water. Hydrogen peroxide is the simplest form of peroxide (a compound with an oxygen–oxygen single bond). It is used as an oxidizer, bleaching agent and antiseptic. Concentrated hydrogen peroxide, or "high-test peroxide", is a reactive oxygen species. Its chemistry is dominated by the nature of its unstable peroxide bond.
Hydrogen peroxide is unstable and slowly decomposes in the presence of light. Because of its instability, hydrogen peroxide is typically stored with a stabilizer in a weakly acidic solution. Hydrogen peroxide is found in biological systems including the human body, fruits and vegetables.

Some of the benefits of H2O2 are:

Integrative Medical practices commonly use hydrogen peroxide intravenously for a wide variety of conditions and diseases. It's an excellent therapeutic option for cancer, lyme disease, bacterial and viral infections on a wide range of spectrums, in addition to being useful for common complaints such as sinus congestion, colds, flus and a general tonic to promote and encourage oxygenation of bodily tissues. Oxygen is vital to the function of the human body, we all know that. Deep breathing is a standard protocol when someone feels faint, overly stressed or nervous. Oxygen infuses into our bodies through our lungs and is transported throughout the body acting as a clean up crew for pathogenic bacteria and other harmful organisms. Including overgrowths of less helpful bacteria normally present in the body, such as candida yeast and the H-pylori bacteria which has been proven to be at abnormally high levels in those suffering from ulcers and other gastric conditions*.
From a natural healing perspective lack of oxygen in the body leads to a reduction in the function of elimination/detoxification powers and immunity begins to be undermined. Hydrogen Peroxide in only a part of the whole picture of lifestyle and dietary factors that can when employed with diligence improve one's health and possibly reverse a wide variety of health issues. 

The Many Therapeutic & Household uses of H2O2:

• 35% Food Grade can be taken orally in drops, added to distilled water or diluted fresh juices or wheat grass. Starting with only 1-3 drops 2-3 times per day, working up to 20 drops per day. It is not advisable to go beyond 20 drops 3 times per day. It is advisable to rest from taking your dosage 1 day per week. Discontinue or temporarily reduce if symptoms of detox become too intense.
• You can create a 3% dilution of H2O2 to spray on your body after you shower. The spray will kill pathogenic bacteria on your skin and increase via osmosis your oxygen levels.
• 2 cups of 35% H2O2 can be added to a bath with salt and/or Epsom salts. I also like to add 1 cup of bentonite clay slurry to my bath for extra detoxification (Avoid Epsom salts if you are sensitive or allergic to sulfur). Soak for at least 1/2 hour for maximum benefits.
• Dilute to 12% for mouth wash. Add peppermint essential oil if the taste is bothersome to you. Shake before use to disperse the peppermint oil.
• 12% dilution can be used as a disinfectant, especially useful to keep germs in hand when someone in the house is ill
• Use 35%, 2 tablespoons as a foot soak. Your feet have the largest pores in the body and are susceptible to fungus and bacteria from your shoes, gym locker rooms, etc. You will also absorb much of the H2O2 oxygen through those foot pores
• For those who have swimming pools and spas, H2O2 is an excellent replacement for chlorine.
• H2O2 can be added to any vaporizer or humidifier, depending on the water volume of your unit, 1/3 to 1/4 cup. When the H2O2 bond breaks oxygen will be released into the air.   
• Additionally H2O2 combine with vinegar and boric acid makes the only true way to destroy mold spores. For information on use of H2O2 to eradicate mold visit the Hunker website. We used this formula extensively while living on the Central coast of California, which is one of the moldiest place in the continental US.
