Probiotic Implants for Immunity Boosting

Rebuilding probiotics in the colon is a game changer in terms of immunity and recovery from gut issues. Many folks are suffering disruptions in micro flora due to antibiotic/antifungal therapies including heroic treatments for Lyme and co-infections.

Heroic treatments for lyme include antibiotic and antifungal agents that severely impair the healthy flora of the entire body, not just the digestive tract. Other medications disrupt the microbiome as well.

Healthy probiotic are also discouraged by the use of excessive hand washing/sanitizers. Immunity begins with your hands and mouth as the vehicles for continual challenges to your immune system.

Areas of the body needing to have flora re-established include...the nose, sinuses, ears, throat, vagina, scrotum, small intestine and colon.  Re-establishing flora to nasal passages and sinus can easily be done by simply inhaling small amounts of a probiotic rich solution such as packaged probiotic powders or juice from fermented vegetables which will make it way to the sinuses as well.

You may also use fermented vegetable juice to gargle with which will restore flora to the throat. Kefir can be used by swabbing it into the ears and nose. Additionally kefir can be applied to the vaginal area and scrotum to restore flora in those locations.

For vaginal application simply apply a coating of kefir and put on your underwear leaving the kefir on for a couple of hours. Women can apply the kefir to a small thin pad and wear throughout the day.

For day to day boosting of intestinal probiotics nothing beats probiotic rich foods to support healthy probiotic balance. See the blogs on this subject, Fermented Foods and the DIY Recipe for making  Kim Chi & Fermented Veggies!

Bridge to Health offers implants and infusions with colonics as a boost to detoxification and immunity.

Probiotic that are dehydrated and powdered can be used for a colon implant. These need not be terribly expensive. I use the
Garden of Life brand, Fitbiotic. The advantage of these powders in the number of organism present in the concentrated powder, 50 billion count of 12 probiotic strains.

Directions for self administered implants
See the pictorial directions below as well.
  • Prepare your powdered probiotic by "blooming" it in tepid water. Tepid water is water at body temperature 98 degrees +/-.   Use small plastic container or jar with a lid that fits securely allowing you to shake the contents in order to get it fully mixed with the warm water.
  • Allow the blooming probiotic to sit for 15-20 minutes. Warm it up using slightly above tepid water, see pics below.
  • Draw the probiotic liquid into the syringe (see the buying guide below). Set the syringe aside and create another small amount warm water and refill the plastic cup. Use the warm water to swish by shaking which will pick up any residual probiotic still in the container.
  • Capture the residue of probiotic by holding the syringe upright pushing the air out of the top of the tube. Then place the tip into the container of additional warm water and draw that into to the syringe. This should give you a total of approximately 60 cc of fluid in the syringe. Push the extra air out.
  • Cut the syringe tip off the disposable McKesson enema bag, cutting approximately 6' above the cap. The enema tip is re-usable see the instruction below for sanitizing and storing the tip.
  • Soften the tip to attach to the filled syringe in boiling water, place the cut end of the enema tip tube into the hot water briefly to slide it over the tip of the syringe. If it is too warm and won't stand up to pushing, wait a few minutes for it to cool off and try again. It's a tight fit, that's what you want.
  • Your implant is now ready to insert. Lie down on a padded surface with a towel or disposable pad underneath your bum! Simply slide the enema tip into the anus as far as is comfortable, push the plunger on the syringe and empty the contents into your colon.
  • Massage your colon upwards from the lower left side of your abdomen, turn over to the right and continue to massage across the transverse section of your upper abdomen. Stay laying for approximately 10-15 minutes. Do not empty your colon after the implant. You want the bacteria to stay in there and colonize!
NOTE: The syringes eventually become more difficult to slide, sticking when you compress the plunger. When that begins to happen they are done. Recycle them and open a new one.

I recommend doing a probiotic implant 2 x's per month for 3 months, then down to 1 x per month for three month. If all goes well and you are eating plenty of fermented foods and protecting your flora continue to do a probiotic implant every three months are a general rule to maintain a strong colon flora.

Step by Step Pictorial Instruction
Cleaning the tip after use.
  • Place the enema tip into a measuring cup with a bit of dish detergent in it.
  • Pour boiling water into the measuring cup, enough to fully cover the insertion portion of the tip.
  • Allow the tip to remain in the hot soapy water until it is fully cooled.
  • Remove the tip from the water and place it into a ziplock bag with the clean dry syringe.

Other Implant Options for the Colon

Along with probiotic implants there are other ways to boost immunity by taking advantage of the colon's ability to absorb nutrient via it's extensive capillary network.
  • Fractionated coconut oil with castor oil makes a great suppository to help alleviate constipation.
  • Warm olive oil is another constipation option.
  • Wheat Grass, with it's powerful chlorophyll and high levels of molybdenum a cancer fighting micro nutrient, also makes an excellent implant which can be delivered using the same process as the probiotic implant.
  • Herbs such as catnip, chamomile are calming to the nervous system and can be injected using the same syringe set-up or an enema bag. Pau d'Arco is strongly anti-fungal and antimicrobial and also makes an excellent infusion. when making infusion teas you want to double the portion of tea for a strong brew.
  • Lavender essential oil can be added to the herb tea, 2 drops only for calming.

Wheatgrass Implants Instructions:
Use fresh or frozen wheatgrass. I prefer the Dynamic Greens WheatGrass, learn why
  • Warm it up without overheating it. Place 4-8 ounces in a small container, allow to sit in a bowl of moderately warm water for a few minutes, until it's temperature is lukewarm.
  • Prepping frozen wheatgrass, unthaw and then follow the instructions above.
  • Draw the fluid up into the syringe and place your enema tip onto the syringe, insert into the anus.
  • Administer by applying castor oil, vaseline or KY jelly to your bum. Insert and push the plunger releasing the fluid into the rectum.
  • Absorb by lying on your back, massage the sigmoid colon at the lower left above the hip bone. Work your way up to the ribcage and over across the middle of your abdomen. Repeat several times and then lie still. The wheatgrass will absorb into the colon and likely not come out after you finish lying still,10-15 min.
  • Afterwards later the implant may slide, but in most cases it does not.

Coconut Oil/Castor Oil Suppository Instructions
  • Mix equal amounts of fractionalized coconut oil or MCT-8 Oil with Organic Castor Oil (hexane free). Olive oil may be substituted.
  • You can make up a 12 ounce mason jar of this blend to keep on hand.
  • Using approximately 1 ounce in a small container, allow to sit in a bowl of moderately warm water for just a few minutes, until it's temperature is luke warm.
  • Apply a bit of the oil solution to your bum and insert the enema tip. Push the plunger to empty the contents into the rectum.
  • Lie still for 10-15 minutes. If no movement occurs after about 1/2 hour repeat with 2 ounces of the blend.
  • A bit of CBD oil can make this even more therapeutic! More on benefits of CBD oil in my next posting.
