Here is a list of foods that you will want to have available for this Detox
Summer Fruits, Melons, avocados, stone fruits such as plums, nectarines, peaches, apricots. Berries particularly raspberries, strawberries and blueberries are in season in Summer. Blackberries, Marion berries come in later in the summer and into the fall. I will  be posting more info on the goodness that fruit brings to the diet. Fruit has gotten a bad rap from Paleo's and other who harp about sugars, fructose from fruit does not elevate blood glucose levels! Consumption of at least, two servings of fruit, and Day are very helpful in preventing type two diabetes! Enjoy summer fruits in abundance. They are cleansing and nutritious!

Salad Green, this includes any seasonal leafy green vegetables you can find it in the marketplace. Such as kale, dandelion greens, cabbages, mustard greens, spinach, arugula, bok choy, green onions, ramps, lettuces such as bib, romaine, butter leaf, escarole, radicchio bitter and pungent adds a nice spicy flavor,  sprouts such as alfalfa, sunflower, bean sprouts and asparagus the queen of spring veggies! The goal during the first 4 days of the detox is to eat as much of these leafy vegetables as you can get into your body. Won't that be fun! Greens are alkalizing and can be eaten in combinations with other vegetables such as bell peppers, tomatoes, onions and garlic. Serve steamed, water stir fired, even grilled and of course raw!
Summer Veggies, to add to your salads. Summer offers us a wonderful choice of seasonal veggies. Chayote-crisp apple'ish turnip like taste, cucumbers in many varieties, jicama with a crunchy sweet flavor, tomatoes are available in abundance from small sweet pear tomatoes, to the classic beefsteak or heirloom varieties, celery, raw onions which are very detoxifying and antimicrobial, green beans steamed or raw are also great in salads. Fresh corn for a corn slaw or just raw off the cob will give you something heartier, be sure it's non GMO and organic.
Fresh herbs, whatever you like best cilantro, parsley, basils and oregano peak in the early  summer. Basil is wonderful on fruit salads or in smoothies, as is cilantro. These are all great for bringing micronutrients and flavor to your food. Parsley is related to celery and is especially helpful to support the kidneys.
Celery, There's a lot of hype about celery juice these days and I am not a person who follows fads. But, celery juice is high in organic sodium which helps maintain calcium in solution in the body. Because of this chemical make up it helps breakdown calcium deposits that can accumulate around joints. It reduces inflammation and like it's cousin parsley it strengthens the kidney with it's bitter phytonutrients. Eat it, drink it, celery will also help keep you cool the hot summer months. 

Whole Salt, get some. Pink Himalayan, Black salt, Celtic sea salt are all good choices. A word about salt. The body needs salt, whole salt. That is salt with color, which means the natural minerals that were part of the formation of the salt are still present. These micro minerals help balance your electrolytes and prevent water retention. Especially important in the summertime.
Kefir, Goat's milk kefir. If you haven't tried it, now is your chance. I want you to get it primarily for use as a salad dressing, which I will be posted in the Forum.
Lemons, primarily for salad dressings, to add to herbal teas and water during the detox and fasting. Lemons can also be used for a cleansing enema during the fasting portion.

Get a fitness ball. The simple choice of bouncing on a fitness ball does wonders for your heart as it will raise your heart beat, you'll break a sweat and it's a powerful way to stimulate the lymphatic system. An actively moving lymphatic system is crucial for the elimination of toxins and strong immunity. Ball bouncing is only one movement. I will be including links for more ball exercises from easy to complex. The exercise ball is one of the safest rebounding options. I prefer it over the small trampolines as it is easy to become disoriented with your foot placement of the trampoline.

If you hit the edge you risk broken bones, falling and potential head injuries, especially for the elderly.The ball moves with the body, your feet can stay on the ground, it's more stable and just plain fun! Gaiam Yoga source website offers this Guide to Choosing the Right Size Ball. Amazon vendors have multiple choices. Thrifts stores regularly have rejected balls looking for a home!

Integrate protocol additions as you are able.
If you do not get everything in, no worries, you have the whole Spring Season to add recommended options.
The main thing is the food and fasting, fitting in whatever else works for you.
You can always repeat the Detox through the rest of the season.

In the ground breaking book "Back to Eden"of the late 20's early 30's, Jethro Kloss author and renowned healer recommends doing a simple fruit and vegetable diet one week out of each month for optimal health.

Consider detoxification as an oil change for your body! Our goal is to integrate regular cleanses as an evolution toward better health.

Hydrogen Peroxide Instructions:
Days:
  1. START WITH ONLY 1 DROP OF H2O2 IN 6 OZ OF WATER 3 X'S PER DAY AWAY FROM FOOD.     
  2. ADD 2 DROPS 2-3 X'S PER DAY AWAY FROM FOOD
  3. ADD 3 DROPS 2-3 X'S PER DAY AWAY FROM FOOD   
  4. ADD 4 DROPS 2-4 X'S PER DAY AWAY FROM FOOD
  5. ADD 5 DROPS 2-4 X'S PER DAY AWAY FROM FOOD
  6. ADD 6 DROPS 2-4 X'S PER DAY AWAY FROM FOOD
​STAY @ 6 DROPS 2-3 X'S PER DAY THROUGH THE REST OF THE FASTING AND THE DAYS OF BREAKING THE FAST.
AT ANYTIME, BACK DOWN THE DOSE IF IT FEELS TOO MUCH.
CONTINUE THIS PROTOCOL THROUGHOUT THE SPRING UNTIL YOU CAN COMFORTABLE TAKE 20 DROPS 2-3 X'S PER DAY. 
TAKE ONE OR TWO DAYS OFF EVERY WEEK, THEN CONTINUE AT YOUR PRESENT LEVEL MOVING TOWARD THE 20 DROPS.


Hydrogen peroxide is oxygenating your system, assisting the immune system to "clean house".

Progressing
Loose stools are one of the most common symptoms of detoxing! Don't be alarmed, your bowels are sloughing off mucous and your liver is amping up. Eat more cooked veggies until the loose stools settle down.

Resting is important:
If your work prevents you from taking a short nap find time during the day to put feet up and close eyes which is very beneficial. Americans are among the most sleep deprived people in the world...read the Sleep Like a Baby Blog to learn more about the importance of sleep as your best healer! And start sun gazing!

Success Tip: If the taste of the H2O2 is off putting for you,
Mix it with diluted fruit or veggie juices., you can add peppermint, lavender or lemon oil to the water...just 1-2 drops, mix with sparkling mineral water and you'll not notice the taste.
Keep your dropper bottle with you in a ziplock bag when taking with you, make sure the cap is tightly secured!

You're about midway through by now.... 
Many of you may be really feeling the detoxifying effects of the Cleanse by now.
You may notice your belly shrinking in a bit, you may be passing a lot of gas which is normal.
It's all good if you can release wind, but if the gas remains congested in the digestive tract it can be quite painful. A good herbal tea to help with excess gas is Sarsaparilla, which works like magic to bring flatulence out! Combine with Ginger to relieve gas and inflammation.

A Reminder....
The evening meal today will be only raw foods, fruits or a veggie salad in preparation for the 3 day fasting.

  • Detox symptoms can be alarming as the body starts doing the deeper cleaning on a cellular level. A wide variety of symptoms can present themselves. Most usually pass with in a few hours. 

​Success Tip: When you experience detox symptoms, take a break, put your feet up and deepend and slow down the breath. Other helpful measure are a warm bath or shower, a sun bath for 15 - 20 Minutes, and sun gazing.

H2O2 is powerful detoxifier, it's important that you listen to your body and proceed at your own pace.
